Showtec Showtecgroup L-Acoustics-K2 speaker Level 1 Training
L-Acoustics had conducted K2 Leve1 course to a group of Showtec Audio engineers on 6th and 7th June 2014 in Singapore Showtec Building, Current rental inventory under Showtec is 36units x L-Acoustics-K2, 12units x L-Acoustics-K2sb , 40units x L-Acoustics SB28, 12units x L-Acoustics DVdose, 20units x L-Acoustics ARCs, 32units x L-Acoustics V-Dosc, 20units x L-Acoustics SB218.
Level 1 is centered on the systems, providing basic technical and operational knowledge.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
This is an essential step for any technician or engineer wanting to work with L-ACOUSTICS systems.
The participant learns to:
Identify the elements of a K system, and understand how they complement one another.
Prepare and install a K system so that it is ready for operation.
Level 1 is a prerequisite for modules of higher levels (in development), which covers the advanced methodologies and tools for sound design, as well as the theoretical principals necessary for an expert mastering of the systems.
SEMINAR STRUCTURE:
A Level 1 seminar is based on two tailored training days:
The System Fundamentals day introduces the elements shared by all the L-ACOUSTICS systems and is composed of two distinct modules: Amplified Controllers and SOUNDVISION Basics.
Attendance to this day is a prerequisite for all of the other modules.
The K System day offers one of the system-specific modules dedicated to a variable curvature WST system: K1, K2, KUDO, KARA or KIVA. It includes a half day practical workshop.
Attendance to this day gives the status of System Technician.
A participant who has already obtained System Technician status (after January 2008) is allowed to attend any K System day without having to register for the System Fundamentals day again.
